- Materials
are loaded into a hopper at the head end of the revolving self-cleaning selector tube.
- Washing
and separation takes place immediately as it enters the tube.
- Sorting
and classification takes place upon material passing through the inner classifier. Baffles impede the progress of the
aggregate long enough for the lower wash system to finalize the separation process. Larger non-bearing aggregates and
lighter sand are washed out through the lower end of the selector tube.
- A
series of specially designed reverse spirals collect and transfer the mineralized sand and heavy minerals from the lower end
of the system. While the mineralized sand and heavy mineral particles are in transit from the lower portion of the tube
to the upper outlet, a special washing design equated to volume angle and velocity, can actually separate the heavy minerals
and the black sands, resulting in a more refined concentrate emptied into your security container.
